Starting out as a simple concept to encourage and inspire women within the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgendered) community, LeadTheWayOut.com™ (LTWO) was officially launched in June 2008. Operating in the state of Michigan, we are a web-based network that allows viewers to build positive, affirming relationships and read inspirational and motivating articles as it relates to the LGBT women and allies within a mature setting. The website provides entrepreneurs, professionals, couples, and talented women an opportunity to be featured as an “out” member of the community, normally dominated by males, and includes editorial material that is updated regularly to self-empower women and allies of the LGBT community.
In a society where the majority of LGBT literature consists of political or sexual content, LTWO exudes individuality, leadership, and thought-provoking topics. We are much more than a website. As brand awareness increases, we anticipate becoming a national brand; hosting workshops, seminars, and conventions that will continue to inspire and self-empower women.
